There are two kinds of Christianity and they are both good. Samson, a Nazarite, is an example of God sanctifying a man for His purposes. Paul and Jesus himself may be added to this list. The other is the common man, loving his Lord and his family, raising a family in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Jesse was a covenant keeper, raising his son David to be set apart, he saw changes that were coming upon Israel and prepared for it. The Church and Christianity's greatest enemy is Egalitarianism. Egalitarianism is just the opposite of how God works. Egalitarianism would have anyone be Samson or David or Paul. Egalitarianism does not recognize the wisdom of the hoary head. Egalitarianism works against the Word of God. Leviticus 19:32 shows us a theme God repeats throughout scripture "Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD." We are in grave danger as we allow Egalitarianism a place not only in our church but also in our nation. Our nation
