Patrick Henry though he lost the vote on the constitution, yet he won. Patrick Henry was a devout Christian man. Though he lost the vote yet he voiced warnings about the flaws and abuses that the Constitution may be prone to in the future. Patrick Henry’s words were often quoted in the courts and the papers of the day. Patrick Henry never did realize the victory he had. The warnings of Patrick Henry had an immeasurable impact on the beginning of our nation. We do indeed have a constitution we can be proud of. Similarly, Christ’s words to the apostles were often misunderstood, but after His death and resurrection, now with understanding, the apostles’ faith became a force for the Gospel and the furthering of the Kingdom of God.
