In Psalm 72, at the beginning of King David’s last prayer, David uses the word “righteousness” three times. There is no longer a fear of God, it has been replaced by seeking the praises of men. The fear of God has been replaced with the fear of offending men with the truth of the Word of God. Psalm 19:9 “The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.” God deals differently with those who fear Him and those who do not.
