In our passage tonight Jesus commanded John to write down the vision he had received, was receiving, and would receive further still so that the seven churches in Asia would be encouraged to repent and perseverance despite persecution. As we see Jesus in this passage we will find that He has the ultimate foundation from which to encourage His church toward repentance and perseverance.
