Efia Nwanganza An established activist and lawyer who launched (June ’07) the low power community radio station. WMXP (95.5 fm) in Greenville, SC, The station serves as the Voice of the People, and is  Greenville's only non- commercial, community owned, It is operated and funded  as a project sponsored by the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement. The station gives a voice to the voiceless and a home to knowledge, community enrichment and social justice advocacy. The lack of funding threatens to close it.   What happens when communities and activists have no media outlet to organize and inform?.
