Future focus. Those are the two most important words when it comes to making mistakes. It's too easy to dwell on the past and feel bad about messing up. We tend to beat ourselves up for making a mistake, but there's zero profitability in dwelling in the past and doing that. The number one goal is to prevent this same problem from occurring in the future. Assess the situation: what went wrong? Focus on the WHAT not the WHY. It doesn't matter why you made the mistake. Focus on what you did that produced the undesired results and implement processes to prevent the same problem from happening again. Notice that I said SAME problem. You're always going to make mistakes. The ideas is to make NEW mistakes. Don't ever make the same mistake twice.
