Nancy Irelan left a cushy corporate and sunny California job with E&J Gallo. Why did Nancy leave? Nancy and her husband Mike  wanted to touch the dirt, and see grape vines again. They gave up sunny California for the cool and glacial winds of Western New York's Finger Lakes Region to make wine.  In 2005 Nancy and her husband began Red Tail Ridge Winery. In the last 14 years not only has Nancy notched a James Beard Award nomination, additionally titans of the wine industry have followed on Nancy's heels to make wine in the finger lakes.
