Hunter shares his experience with the elk herd and how he fulfilled his goal of finding his first elk shed this past spring, which took a lot of effort and consistency.  Being in Northern Michigan, Hunter deals with a low deer density and he has found success targeting bucks where they seek refuge in the fall. He likes finding rublines that lead him to these secluded areas that prove a buck has been and likes to be there. Hunter then proceeds to set up an ambush with a ground blind, a tactic that is successful because there is a lack of suitable trees to hunt out
