It was on February 9, 1964, that The Beatles first appeared in front of an American audience of 73 million viewers on The Ed Sullivan Show, kicking off the cultural phenomenon known as Beatlemania. It was also in February that The Beatles performed their first U.S. concert at the Washington Coliseum! Needless to say, the month of February is widely recognized by many Beatles fans.
