Wednesday President Trump spoke at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland in which he demanded “immediate negotiations” with European counterparts on the fate of Greenland. Trump told leaders he would not use military force to acquire Greenland. He went on to say that while he has “tremendous respect” for the people of Greenland and Denmark, “every NATO ally has an obligation to be able to defend their own territory.
