Whether you're a realtor, an insurance broker, a coach, a consultant, a service provider, a direct sales rep or anybody else hoping to use their personal social media presence to sell more stuff, at one time or another you've probably felt a little bit concerned about your strategy. It's a valid concern. The reason this is one of the things people ask me about the most is because most of us at least start out by marketing to the people who already know, like and trust us. We call this your "warm market". Your warm market can be one of the easiest as well as one of the hardest markets to sell things to, because as opposed to total strangers, we actually really do care what these people think. We don't want to risk what we sometimes call "social capital"-- the sort of unseen currency you earn by getting people to like you and pay attention to you. We crave that, and we don't want to lose it by burning out our friends and family with spammy, sales-y posts on social media. The way I see it, there are two ways to
