These Syrah based wines Have been produced for centuries and are indicative of quality, complexity, power and taste. I will feature the Northern Rhone area of Saint Joseph where you can find great values when compare with the wines of Hermitage and Cornas.    The “Wine of the Week” is Carmen Steven’s Angels Reserve Shiraz, 2013 from the Western Cape of South Africa. Carmen is one of South Africa's finest wine makers, as one taste of her superb Shiraz -  made especially for the Naked Wines Angels - quickly illustrates.
