Kris & David are joined by Alfredo Esparza (@therealfredo) to discuss the (almost-)week that was April 28-May 2, 1993. We start off talking about the very first Triplemania event put on by AAA and how it changed the game in lucha libre, drawing the biggest crowd in Mexican wrestling history at Plaza de Toros in Mexico City. We go through each match, particularly Konnan vs. Cien Caras in a loser must retire match with Jake Roberts playing a part in the finish. We also talk about everything else going on in the lucha world that week in one of our longest Lucha sections ever. We then go to WCW where we talk about the debut of the Blackhearts and Ric Flair's Flair for the Gold, which was a doozy, among other WCW craziness. We also talk about Robert Fuller appearing on SMW & WCW TV on the same day as Col. Robert Parker makes his debut, and one of the greatest Memphis TV matches in the history of the territory.
