The security blanket is something that many children have. It is comfortable. It is familiar. It is soothing. Linus van Pelt is one of those children. You will be hardpressed to find Linus without his blanket. He is committed to his trusty blanket, despite ridicule from his older sister Lucy. Unlike Linus, most of us adults have outgrown carrying a blanket around. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have other “security blankets.” One of the most motivating factors in our lives is the pursuit of security. However, the prophet Micah has good news.
