The people of this world live in the Kingdom of Death. This is why Jesus came to the world to bring His Fathers Kingdom. We are God's ambassadors and our message to the world is "Come back to God". God did everything required for us to be translated from the Kingdom of this world into the Kingdom of God. This was done by the finished work of Jesus.
