Lisa Murphy, artist, teacher & researcher, speaking about her dissertation project, CAPACITY, examining the response of area residents to the region's murals and what they resonate with and what they feel mightbe lacking. CAPACITY, which stands for Creating Art via Photovoice Analysis of Community Themes & Imagery, is both an art exhibition & community-engaged research project, and the show will open at the AFA Gallery, 101 Penn Avenue in Scranton at 6:00 pm, on Friday, October 19, 2024.
