Danielle Kaplan is a speech-language pathologist and movement specialist. She grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. She has a research MA in Communication of Traumatic Brain Injury. Upon immigrating to Toronto, Canada, with her husband Stephen, she worked in acute teaching hospitals for over 20 years across the Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Spinal injury areas dealing with cognition, language, and swallowing disorders. After then gaining a certification in Pilates, Personal Training (CanfitPro), Ballet Barre, and Rehab Exercise Specialization, she opened her own Pilates/movement studio and currently teaches classes online on Instagram.
