Today we catch up with AHRI’s Dr Qin Yu about the paper “Do plants pay a fitness cost to be resistant to glyphosate?” This paper was published earlier this year and is written by Martin Vila-Aiub, Qin Yu and Steve Powles. This paper reviewed the literature to understand the effects of glyphosate resistance on plant fitness as the molecular, biochemical and physiological levels.
