Coach Monica evaluated Penning, explaining his areas of improvement. Monica also remembered the legendary Ed Daniels, the former WGNO Sports Director who passed away on Friday. The guys told stories about Daniels, celebrating what he did for high school sports in Louisiana. Bobby and Mike interviewed Zack Nagy, an LSU reporter for Sports Illustrated. Nagy discussed freshman CB PJ Woodland's "meteoric" rise up the Tigers' depth chart. Nagy also shared his thoughts on new LSU DC Blake Baker, the Tigers' intensity at practice, and the expectations for Brian Kelly's third year leading the program.
