Three basic truths are set forth in this book--I. Truth is the foundation of Christian fellowship - v.1-II. Christian Truth Does Not Stand Alone, but is Wedded to Christian Love - v. 5-III. Christian truth is based upon fact of Jesus Christ's coming in the flesh. -v.7--The truth of Jesus Christ's incarnation is essential to our salvation. --We must know the truth and reject the errors that are everywhere. --Jesus' incarnation is crucial for our salvation and therefore we must believe it, confess it , proclaim it , and protect it from false teaching and attacks.
