She opens up about her time at war, her struggles with PTSD after returning home and her recovery.It is now her mission to help others struggling with PTSD through her jewelry company, Brass & Unity. In 2016, she started Brass & Unity to help save her fellow soldiers lives, or at least try to give them a second chance. After serving on the front lines in Afghanistan (Infantry & Artillery) at 18 years old and losing many of her friends during battle, she came home with severe PTSD.
