With 2014 here many have came up with New Year Resolutions and with the New Year comes the idea of a clean slate, fresh start, or starting over and those things are all done in our own "power". However their is something we are completely powerless to accomplish which Christ has done in our lives if we are his. That is give us Newness of life. (2nd Corinthians 5:17) 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.[b] The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. But many of us allow old ways to entangle us, and old habits to still get the best of us we give them a breath of fresh air, and don't put them to death as the word of God instructs us to do. Let 2014 be the year where you walk in the Newness of Life Christ offers rule you, live by the spirit, put to the death the ways of the flesh.
