Why do we so often observe that the Greedy and the Selfish seem to prosper, whilst at the same time the faithful suffer? Abimelech fell into the lure of greed and self-assertion, yet his story from Judges Chapter 9 reminds us that God opposes the greedy and the selfish, and he will bring about Final Justice in the end.
