My guest today is  Dr. Savanna Jamerson.  She is truly a PHENOMENAL Woman!  Savanna Jamerson has spent more than 30 years as an educator in public schools and universities in the state of Washington. Her experience includes high school teacher of humanities, Dean of Students in alternative high schools, University Academic Study Skills Counselor, Multicultural Education/Curriculum and Instruction instructor, and University Teacher Education Program Coach.  She is currently teaching in the Seattle Public Schools district and developing curricula frameworks and sample instructional materials for Ethnic Studies in the state of Washington. This work has included instructional materials specifically developed for teaching the Black Lives Matter Movement in schools that is posted on the Washington Education Association’s (WEA’s ) and National Education Association’s (NEA’s) websites.
