My next guest had a life changing event happen on September 11 2001. Steve Plakotaris was scheduled to board a United Airlines flight that day. Flight 93 from Newark to San Fransico to be exact. That plane was taken down by hijackers with 44 passengers and crew on-board in Pennsylvania. It was a simple head cold that kept Steve off that flight that day. Steve has continued creating some amazing things in his life as an Entrepreneur. Tune in to hear his story.

On August 3rd 1991 Ronan Leonard was on a ship called the Oceanos that set out from East London, South Africa headed for Durban. The ship ran into 40 knot winds and 9 metre (30 foot) swells. While off the coast an explosion was heard and the ship lost power and started to take on water. The Captain and crew left passengers onboard while they sailed to safety. The Oceanos later sunk. Ronan was one of the last people onboard.

Khalid Baker spent 13 years in jail for a murder he says he never committed. His friend confessed to the murder at the time. In an extraordinary miscarriage of justice and due to the laws at the time his confession didn’t even make it to court.

Though I think his biggest accomplishment has been now talking to thousands of people around the country about his battles with depression.

Andrew Patterson is a Sydney based crime writer and ex detective. He was a Detective Sergeant in the Western Australian Police working in paedophilia and vice, HE then moved on to writing his very first novel Harrys world in 2015 that won several awards Internationally.
