Bob Geldof used his pull to get everyone and their mother involved, for better or worse! One of the acts on stage was Simple Minds, who also made their Top 40 debut in 1985. "On the Dark Side" was a huge hit in the 80's, but not the first time it was released! You can thank HBO and VHS for the resurgence. And you'll never guess who was behind the success of "No One is to Blame" (but okay you may have known that the tireless Phil Collins had something to do with it). // Just a Bit Outside: Two LEGENDS had some early-80s flops on the chart, so it's time to give these tunes their due! A flame-haired powerhouse and a suave James Bond-type found themselves on the bottom half of the Hot 100, but don't worry, Grammy Awards and Pepsi ads await!!

Yo man what do you expect, the guy’s a gigolo, man? Y’know wut I mean? Uhh.
