It's time to get back into the music of Moonlighting. How accurate is Showrunner Glenn Gordon's Caron claim that they were able to retain the vast majority of the music used in the show's original run? One thing is certain, they songs performed by Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis on the show remain intact. Some other songs that were kept include hits from Pet Shop Boys and Alisha. Much like the iconic television series itself, this episode of HRT80s has been plagued by delays, behind the scenes tension, and inflated egos. But one thing is for sure, you will hear all about the legendary theme song by Al Jarreau (and its many iterations), as well as the Jarreau song that was meant to be the theme song long before audiences were asked to "Come walk by night". Showrunner Glenn Gordon Caron has said in interviews that he did his best to keep the original music intact as the show made its long-awaited return to tv screens via Hulu.
