Our MLB betting podcast right here at ATS.io is unquestionably the best in the business and nobody does a better job of explaining the game better than Adam. On this edition of the show, Adam talked about some early returns from Opening Day and how likely those things are to carry over throughout the early part of the season and beyond. Adam also talked about his handicapping process, what to look for when breaking down starting pitchers, and today’s Sabermetric Stat of the Show. A pick for tonight’s action gave way to a preview of the weekend with thoughts on Twins vs. Brewers, Braves vs. Phillies, and White Sox vs. Angels.

Host Adam Burke and pro bettor and handicapper Brad Powers from BradPowersSports.com got together one final time for this college basketball season to chat a little bit about the FCS, the Final Four, the National Championship Game, and some future improvements to their college hoops handicapping. The FCS chat was short and sweet, as line value hasn’t worked out in Brad’s favor and a lot of teams have opted out of the season over the last couple of weeks, but the guys still wanted to make mention of what is happening on the gridiron. On the college basketball side, Adam and Brad talked about what we’ve seen in the NCAA Tournament so far and if any of that will carry over in their minds to future tournaments. The guys discussed Houston vs. Baylor and UCLA vs. Gonzaga with picks, leans, and breakdowns before looking at the look-ahead lines for the National Championship Games. Finally, the guys talked about what they took away from this college basketball season and how they’ll look to use that in the future.

Host Adam Burke and our Wednesday guest Kiev O’Neil from The Oddsbreakers had the chance to go in-depth in a big way on the Final Four matchups on this edition of ATS Radio. The guys gave a few quick thoughts on what we’ve seen so far and things that they will look to carry over into future tournaments before discussing Saturday’s two games. Houston vs. Baylor and UCLA vs. Gonzaga are Saturday’s matchups with a berth in the National Championship Game on the line. Adam and Kiev had a difference of opinion on Houston vs. Baylor, but mostly fell in line with their thoughts on UCLA vs. Gonzaga. They projected out the lines for the Championship Game and then recapped the 2021 college basketball season with some good, some bad, and some things to carry over into next season.

Host Adam Burke and regular Tuesday guest Brian Blessing were reunited after a change to last week’s schedule. Adam and Brian started with college hoops right out of the gate, taking a look at tonight’s Elite Eight action with USC vs. Gonzaga in the first game and UCLA vs. Michigan in the second game. The guys also discussed some early thoughts on the Houston vs. Baylor line. On the NHL side of things, the guys discussed the playoff picture and the futures market, including some thoughts on how the playoffs look pretty well-defined already and how home/road splits could progress going forward. Quick thoughts on the NASCAR dirt race and the standings setup sent the boys into a chat about the Valero Texas Open with a weak field and a lot of players at some decent prices that could make noise. Finally, it is a big weekend for horse racing with three Kentucky Derby prep races.

Host Adam Burke and pro bettor and handicapper Kyle Hunter from HunterSportsPicks.com covered the NCAA Tournament from all angles on this edition of the show. After talking about what we’ve seen in March Madness so far, the guys took a look at all four Elite Eight matchups. They started with Oregon State vs. Houston and then moved into Arkansas vs. Baylor. They also looked at all four possible combinations for the Final Four on the right side of the bracket and projected out those lines. Moving over to the left side of the bracket, Adam and Kyle shared their thoughts on USC vs. Gonzaga and also UCLA vs. Michigan. After breaking those games down, they talked about the potential lines for the Final Four for those teams as well.

Adam started with some Spring Training news and notes, including the key injuries to Eloy Jimenez and Nick Anderson, plus some roster battles and how to interpret these last few days of Spring Training. Teams are getting their players ready for the season and that can lead to some overreactions from bettors as they look at those final stat lines. The Five-and-Fly segment is a great way for listeners to get some information on all of the teams in a division in a short and sweet format. Adam talked about the final division of the Five-and-Fly with the NL West. That meant analysis, betting tips, and observations for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, and San Francisco Giants.

The guys went through all four regions with the West, South, Midwest, and East giving first-round picks, some futures looks, some sleeper teams, and a general betting overview of the first round of March Madness.

The NIT starts on Wednesday night, so that was the starting point for the podcast as Adam and Kiev talked about betting angles, tonight’s two games featuring Toledo vs. Richmond and Western Kentucky vs. Saint Mary’s and also about a play for Saturday that Kiev has already bet. The guys started with some NFL Free Agency updates and early thoughts on how the futures markets will be affected. Then they went to the NCAA Tournament to talk about vulnerable #1 seeds and games of interest in the first round. The Honda Classic has a watered-down field, but that means you can go price hunting with some names at big numbers down at PGA National. Adam and Brian shared some of their picks and strategies for that tournament and then finished up on the NASCAR side. The Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 is this week’s NASCAR race at Atlanta and the guys talked about some picks to win and some matchup and group matchup strategies for the weekend.

Today’s show was pretty much all about March Madness and the NCAA Tournament. The guys gave some general betting tips and an overview of how to bet the NCAA Tournament, money line rollovers vs. futures prices, the venue changes for this year’s tournament, and so much more. Then the guys went region by region, going West, South, Midwest, and then East to talk about potential upsets, good betting spots, futures opportunities, coaching mismatches, and a bevy of things to help you get an edge when handicapping the first and second round games. They even looked at Final Four and Elite Eight futures. And they even worked in the NIT and the CBI quickly at the end of the show as well. It was an awesome show and maybe the best of the season.

Then the guys moved over to the golf side of things as the Florida Swing continues with the PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass. A huge prize pool and a big number for winning are the stories this week, along with a top-notch field at a course that has some different elements to it than the usual courses. Finally, Adam and Brian shared some NASCAR analysis for this weekend’s Instacart 500 at Phoenix Raceway as Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski, Denny Hamlin, and Kevin Harvick all look to get into the win column.
