  • 3 Strikes, You're Out #22: Putting the Out in Outsports with Calvin Cato

    10/04/2020 Duración: 01h12min

As a certified baseball nerd, my podcast usually concentrates on the "SPORTS" part of Outsports. But since there's no baseball to speak of right now (sigh), I wanted to spend at least one episode emphasizing the "OUT" part. With that in mind, comedian Calvin Cato (Playable Characters Podcast) joins me for a wide-ranging discussion on our coming out and being out experiences. We dig into the hidden joys of stumbling upon Lesbian Night in a Brooklyn gay bar, inspirational gay public figures like Tom Daley and David Sedaris, and flashbacks of the night I first told Calvin that I had a crush on a guy. Don't worry...this is NOT a Very Special Episode™ but it's still a pretty thoughtful conversation.
