Once Maria started getting involved in the school system in Arlington, VA she tried to hear the other side of the story. She would invite pro-transgender parents out to coffee, or just try to ask them questions and really get a better sense of what they were going through and what was gong on. But they all refused. They'd say things like, "Oh, I know who you are" and not even give her the time of day. That piqued her interest because usually if you offer an olive branch to someone, they'll take it and try to talk to you. Unless, of course, they're in a cult. Having been a gay Christian before completely giving her life to Christ, Christie May Jesse understands the struggle. “At the core of same-sex attraction, lies a longing to know oneself, to belong,” she explains, but what they’re doing is refusing to give up a part of themselves to God. One of the claims made by the gender ideologues is that it doesn’t impact anyone if someone else’s child socially transitions. After all, no one is forcing anyone else to go through that transition. Kathleen Benfield talks to Dr. J about the problem with that issue, and gives the perfect come back as to why that is a lie and how to deal with it. Kathleen’s organization has successfully protected children from a myriad of ills, especially gender ideology. If you had asked James whether or not he was born gay, he would have told you that he was. He would have told you that all the way up until 2019. After all, that was how he experienced sexual attraction from the time he was he was 14. He also decided to come out, during secondary school, not to everyone, but to a smaller group. He continued into his years at University proclaiming his same-sex attraction. As this began for him in the 1980’s, it was a difficult thing, but he was loud and proud, especially in his activism. He was in a committed, long-term, same-sex relationship, and was quite happy in life. She told her therapist that she had this desire to be a man - which the therapist was ready for. She also told the therapist that she wanted to explore why she might want to be a man - which question couldn't even fit into the therapist's realm of cognition. Instead of exploring the question Nancy posted, the therapist began to insist that it came from a place of hidden transphobia from her childhood. This caused her to spiral further into depression. Nancy carried a grudge against her parents for years. They didn't help her or take her to therapy. They didn't accept her as a part of the family. To boot, they got divorced. And as far back as when she was 6 she felt like she didn't fit in, almost anywhere. To top it all off, she could recall having her first same sex attraction to her teacher in the 3rd grade. For years she identified as a lesbian and lived that lifestyle, until she came to a realization about all of these issues with her own life and with her parents: it started when she was sexually abused as a very young child. The trauma in her life had led her down the path she was on. Along her healing journey, she discovered that much of the anger she felt at her parents was misplaced and that they had worked to help her heal. Marco Casanova wasn’t actively gay until he went to seminary. And while in seminary he kind of lived a double life. He’d learn and fulfill his duties during the day, and at night he’d go to gay bars. Fortunately for him, his wise formators were able to help him discern his vocation more accurately, and help him integrate his sexuality.
