Red Zone Sports Report

In this pre-eelction edition of the Red Zone Sports Report, we will discuss a wild game this weekend in Baton Rouge. Also Auburn/Vandy, Texas A&M/Mississippi St., and wrap up with a discussion of the Arkansas/Florida game. We'll close the college football segment talking playoff rankings. In our second segment we'll discuss a wild Week 9 in the NFL. Dak leads the Cowboys to 7-1, Raiders defeat the Broncos at home, Kaepernick throws for 400 yards in loss to Saints and Panthers sneak by the Rams. 

In this episode of the Red Zone Sports Report we'll go over all of the wildy and wacky games this weekend both in college football and the NFL. We'll start with college football and recap Ohio St. / Penn St., Auburn / Arkansas, Alabama / Texas A&M, and LSU / Ole Miss. We'll then talk about the wild game between Oklahoma and Texas Tech in the Big 12. Then we'll pivot to NFL and talk about the most bizarre game that I've been in years: the Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks???? Are you kidding me? What an ending! What a crazy game. So sad that it was on national television! We'll talk Dan Quinn, Atlanta Falcons, and San Diego Chargers. We'll finish talking about Bills / Dolphins!

Peter J. Mulry was born to a staunch Irish Catholic family in Jersey City, NJ and attended St. Mary's High School in Rutherford, NJ. In 1967 he was a member of the first four-year graduating class at Saint Leo University in San Antonio, Florida and was hired to coach baseball by Tampa Catholic Athletic Director, Tom Murray, right out of college.  Tampa Catholic's rise to national acclaim began with Coach Mulry and his 1968 team. Together they excited a school and a town - first with thrilling rivalry games - and then with a run to the state championship. During his tenure he took his teams to 6 final four tournaments and won 4 state championships. He accumulated a high school record of 329-39. He was named Coach of the Year in 1968, 1971, 1973, 1976 and nominated to be National Coach of the Year in 1976. He was the head baseball coach at the University of Tampa from 1978-1983.
